4th of July has always been my favorite holiday, and now it will forever belong to our sweetest boy. After 13 years together, Finny left us yesterday. I suppose it makes sense that he would be ready to go during the week marked by family, tradition, and the memories we hold closest. I will never have words grand enough to express the joy this boy brought to my soul. I am so grateful for 13 years of laughter, flights, walks, cuddles, and endless adventures. I got Finn when I was 22, and it’s unbelievable to think about how much life we shared. He was by my side as we moved all over the world, built a life together, lost homes and built new ones, weathered heartbreak, fell in love, got married, started a family, and built a business. My unwavering support and best friend. He was so much more than a dog. He had more frequent flier miles than most people, the most soulful eyes, and a way of bringing peace to everyone he met. I hope you’re having so much fun in heaven with Levi, securing the perimeter, getting every booty scratch, and being surrounded by toys. I am immeasurably grateful for every memory we made, and I will miss you every single day. I can’t wait to see you again, buddy. We love you so much 🤍🕊️
