@loiehollowell’s first-ever NFT project, titled “Contractions,” launches on October 28, presented by Pace Verso and @artblocks_io.⁠ -⁠ “Contractions” is based on Hollowell’s Split Orb sculptural paintings, a series of works that are a meditation on the visceral experience of vaginal birth. With this NFT series, she aims to make her work accessible to a wide audience. Created amid increasing restrictions on reproductive healthcare and the reversal of Roe v.
