“You know what, working on Red, White and Royal Blue while Purple Hearts came out meant that I was very much in a little bubble and it felt like all the hysteria was happening on an island very far away. I just kind of assumed having finished Red, White And Royal Blue and going back out into the world again, that the madness would pass me by.
