In the fall I took some time off work to go do some horse ranching at the top of the Pyrénées with a very special woman who I was lucky to have take me under her wing. I'm still working on that project and hoping to share her story soon enough. I've been sitting on a pile of the photos for a while and felt like sharing a couple. There's something about leaving work to go do more work as a form of therapy, especially where you get to use your body, escape society and screens and become friends with these beautiful beasts. I owe Freia so much for trusting me with her Castillonaise, training me in horsemanship, and getting to go on night walks in the forest with them.
