Spicyyyyy shrimp tacos 🥵🌶️🌮 pickled red onions- 1 red onion 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar 1/4 cup water 1 tsp salt 2 tbsp sugar slaw- 1/2 small head purple cabbage, shredded 2 carrots, grated 2 green onions, chopped 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped 1/2 cup kewpie or normal mayo 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar 2 tbsp honey salt, pepper to taste shrimp- 1/2 lb peeled and deveined shrimp 2 tbsp chipotle or cajun seasoning 1 tbsp olive oil 1 lime 4 @sietefoods @sauce spicy mayo For pickled onions- thinly slice red onion and place in a glass container. Bring apple cider vinegar, water, salt. sugar in a small sauce pot and bring to a simmer on medium heat. Once simmered add pickling liquid to jar to pickle onions. Wait at least 30 minutes and make sure onions are fully submerged For slaw- combine shredded cabbage, carrots, chopped green onions, chopped cilantro in a large bowl. In a separate bowl combine mayo, ACV, honey, salt & pepper. Whisk well then combine with cabbage. Use tongs to fully mix slaw together. For shrimp- add shrimp to a bowl with 1 tsp olive oil, seasonings, and juice of 1/2 of a lime. Mix together. Put a saute pan on high heat and cook shrimp for about 2-3 minutes each side. For tortillas- use tongs and throw tortillas directly on flame to heat both sides. For assembly of tacos- lay tortillas down, add spicy mayo, shrimp, slaw, pickled red onions, and garnish with lime and cilantro. Enjoy!! 🤤
