On Saturday I was crowned the 2024 Miss Lincoln County Apple Queen. From a young age I have always gone to the Apple Queen pageant and couldn’t wait for the day I would take the stage. For years I have watched women grow in their confidence, professionalism, and so much more throughout this pageant. When being crowned so many emotions filled my mind. I was beyond grateful to have been given a platform to be a light within our community, but I was also hit with the responsibility put upon me. This year I will do everything in me to represent the bpw, lincolnton, but most importantly I want to represent every girl standing on the stage with me Saturday night. Every single girl who competed on Saturday did an amazing job, and I wouldn’t have wanted to experience this summer with any other 9 girls. To my fellow contestants, you all shined so bright on Saturday. You all looked beautiful and every single one of you deserved a piece of the crown. You girls deserve everything good coming your way and I can’t wait to see where your successes take you. To all my support in the crowd, you all truly showed me how loved and supported I am and I could not thank you enough. You all have done everything you can to support me on anything I do, and I am forever grateful. Thank you and I love you all! To Lincoln County, this year I will do everything I can to represent who we are as a county. My goal is for Everyone who will come across my path to feel loved and valuable after they speak to me. I will serve, treat people with kindness, and show everyone respect. Thank you so so much for this opportunity to be a role model and a leader within our community.
