Running can break your heart sometimes. You can pour every ounce of yourself into the sport—the endless miles, the early mornings, the sacrifices few will ever see—and still come up short. It’s a harsh truth: running owes us nothing. No guarantees, no promises. But that’s also where its beauty lies. In those moments of disappointment, we’re given a choice. We can carry the weight of what didn’t go our way, or we can detach from it, step back, and reframe how we want to respond. We learn to accept the lows, not as failures, but as part of the process—part of the privilege of pursuing something so relentlessly. These are the lessons I’ve taken from handling my first real running injury these past months. Because no matter how hard it gets, we know one thing: we will rise again. Stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever. The journey is long, with no clear “end”—but that’s exactly what makes it worthwhile. _ 🎥 @tonywithasony 👟 @nordarun 005 🕶️ @we_are_sungod Velans
