Happy birthday buddy, I miss you every day. I started this note the day we all found out and never had the guts to finish it so here it is. I don’t know where to start. Mainly because I know you would’ve hated me writing something cheesy about you. Guess what? I wasn’t supposed to. Eric, you kind, beautiful, shy, wholesome human, I can even fully process the pain or fully understand how this happened or why I’m not questioning why it happened. I can still hear you sing karaoke to one of the most annoying karaoke songs from that stupid “karaoke songs” note you had on your phone (you almost murder me once because you thought I deleted it). You were so easily fascinated by people and their little particular details. I’ll forever miss going down knickerbocker Ave reading businesses names with you and pronouncing them in weird ways. *added* From your 3 order chicken dumpling order from fanway every time I asked you what you wanted (you always said get me the cheapest) to our little runs to dollar tree where you would buy off brand Coca Cola and always be shocked that everything cost a dollar... well guess what, it’s $1.25 now. I miss falling asleep on your couch and waking up the next day with a blanket your would throw on me. I miss you making fun of me. I miss you stealing all my hair clips. I miss seeing you eat raw jalapeños and so many other random things you did. Thank you for helping me with my guitar (I still suck) thank you for always being honest with me. I wish I could ft you right now and gossip with you for two hours. Today I celebrate you and the impact you had in my life and many others. I love you forever 🌹🎂
