Here's a look at my Shadow R👀t Application! (sound on) 🗣⠀ In this video I am using @Redken Color Gels Lacquers 7N, 7AB,7Na (equal parts, 10vol) for a simultaneous base break & shadow root.⠀ ⠀ Application Keypoints:⠀ 1️⃣ Break the back of the head into 3 sections (low occipital, high occipital and crown). This give you control, and allows you to use the foils to separate for a neat and clean app (no more unwanted smudges on your lightened ends)!⠀ ⠀ 2️⃣ Move to diagonal sub-sections at the crown & over-direct away from the mid-line. I found this give a natural teardrop shape to the shadowed area, which gives a better blend and avoids any harsh lines.⠀ ⠀ 3️⃣Switch to a vertical application when you get to the back of the ear. This, again, give you control and super neat and clean application.
