Let’s try this again* I’ve always had a conflicting relationship with my body. My upbringing was filled with diet tips and passive aggressive comments disguised as advice. I hated everything about me. I hid under oversized baggy tshirts for most of my young adulthood. From being taught to hold my stomach in, to Atkins diet, and HCG drops.....To my parents offering me a BBL at 15/16 yrs old, “if you just lost enough weight to qualify for the surgery”...... I’ve never treated my body with the love and respect it deserves. It’s taken 31 yrs to unlearn a lot of the toxic ideals I was brainwashed with. It definitely isn’t easy putting yourself out there, but it feels amazing to finally experience the freedom that comes with deciding to live freely as YOU! Whoever that may be at this very moment.
