URGENT!! THIS SMALL GIRL HAS BEEN STUCK IN BOARDING ALMOST A WEEK!!! SHE NEEDS A FOSTER HOME IN THE SUBURBS NOW!!! She’s treated very well there, but nothing is a proper substitute for a home. Day is 6 months old, only 28 lbs, and very, very scared in the city. On the street, every noise, every item that rustles, every reflection in windows and mirrors terrifies her. She's living in a constant state of fight or flight, and because she's so gentle, she'd never fight — which means she's always feeling like she needs to run and/or hide. We need to get this poor little hound mix into a foster home out of the city where she can start to decompress and figure out how to be a dog instead of a vibrating sack of nerves. She's more at peace with a fenced in yard and some grass. At home Day is very affectionate and liberal with kiss giving. She is potty trained, okay with other dogs out of the home but needs to be the only pup in the house. She’s sweet, playful, and likes to entertain herself with her toys. She's shy at first with new people but smart and treat motivated, so she'll make an awesome training student — already knows how to sit and give paw! Her playful side is so adorable but doesn’t get the opportunity to come out often enough. In the right environment, she'll be an amazing companion. PLEASE HELP!!
