A few months ago, I submitted a design to @coldpicnic for their student capsule collection highlighting the work of three black art and design students. My blanket “Curled Up” is available for preorder and will be delivered in September! Beyond thankful to the whole team that made this blanket exist - including angel @grace_nass for sharing. Here’s the (clearly influenced by food) description: “Inspired during my visit to my hometown of Minneapolis, Curled Up illustrates the evolving forms of a body’s desire to rest. After repeatedly encountering these colors in June, I infused the blanket with a gentle green and the flax-lined figures are marinated in a deep savory red.”
