What a magical night, capping off an incredible week promoting “Unthinkably Good Things” and the historic launch of @hallmarkmahogany on @hallmarkmovie! I could not be more honored to be among such an amazing group of talented creatives, visionaries and overall amazing folks! The week started off @mvaaff which brought me back to my beloved Martha’s Vineyard to be part of a filmmakers’ panel to talk about making our beautiful movie and gave me the opportunity to spend some time with my beautiful friends and enjoy an amazing dinner @stateroadmv Then back to LA for @official_tca and a special screening where we reunited with our amazing cast @thekarenpittman @theericaash @joyfuldrake @jermainelove44 and all the way from Rome, @lucasetaofficial (@lancegross you were missed!). Thank you to the powerful Black women behind the scenes that made this all possible: @iamtonijudkins the head of the Mahogany initiative, whose vision and leadership were our North Star, @cassigers who wrote a beautiful story about friendship, love and second chances, our fearless director, @terrijvaughn and a very special thanks to Wonya Lucas, the inspiring CEO of Hallmark Media who had the idea to create content under the Mahogany imprint and has created a new avenue for positive and authentic Black stories. Who knew when my friend, @korindianewilliams and I started @kroniclemedia five years ago, that we would produce a movie in Italy! It’s truly been a dream come true and I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished.
