Four years ago, this week, I walked through the doors of THV11 as a nervous, scared and very eager 22-year-old. Tomorrow, at 26 years old, I am walking out of those same doors as a confident, determined, driven professional.. for the last time. My time at THV11 has been nothing short of a dream come true. I have had the opportunity to do things I’ve always dreamed of. I’ve been on tv, covered the Arkansas Razorbacks, helped film a Super Bowl commercial, took a full MMJ training, reviewed countless movies, written thousands of articles, laughed until I cried... just a small glimpse of so many things to be grateful for. If you would have looked at me 5 years ago and said, “Hana, you will be desk mates with Craig O’Neill, he will speak at your wedding, you will teach him how to use Facebook Live and you’ll talk basketball as you cohost a lifestyle show together,” I would have giggled and rolled my eyes and said, “YEAH RIGHT.” As I leave this newsroom, I can only hope I have touched a few lives during my time here. Whether it was making you smile, making you laugh, quoting any and every movie, arguing about last night’s game or giving you a little glimpse of what trusting in God’s love looks like — I hope I’ve left a lasting impression. I have been so blessed to meet and tell the stories and shine the light on some amazing Arkansans. To THV11, thank you for taking a chance and believing in this little ‘ole country girl from Wynne.
