I’m not knocking all of the other diets that exist, and I’m certainly not a dietician or a doctor to give you all advise on what to eat to feel good but what I do know is that I spent the last 6 years of my life jumping from diet to diet trying to lose that last 20 lbs post pregnancy that clung to me and just didn’t feel right for ME. I was overweight and uncomfortable and if I had to go one more day without bread and cheese I might’ve lost my mind ESPECIALLY because the outcome of the last rounds of whole30 and keto ended in weight GAIN for me (again, not bad diets, just not good for me right now). I was finally able to figure out something that worked for me, and that something was @myfitnesspal and simply tracking my calorie intake. Some days I eat healthy, and some days I eat out and have French fries and all that other heavenly stuff!! It’s all about balance and I know exactly what I need to do to maintain my weight now that I’m comfortable in my clothes. I workout 5-30 minutes a day depending on how busy I am, and I eat 1800-2000 calories a day. Easy peasy. 2000 calories of salads and healthy protein and fat some days and 2000 calories of high carb fast food the days I just don’t have time or feel like a salad... it depends on the day!! First steps to start this journey for me:- invested in a kitchen scale- got mine for $4 at the dollarama - downloaded the @myfitnesspal app and figured out how many calories I need to consume each day to lose 0.5-1lb a week- figured out an easy workout routine that works for me #weightlossjourney #weightloss #caloriecounting #caloriedeficit #foodislife #ilovefood #eatgoodfeelgood #foodie #foodiegram #carbsarelife #balancediet #balancedlifestyle #effortlesseatery #myfitnesspal #myfitnesspalapp
