october 🍁 a month of celebration there is no where else I’d rather be then sitting on the ground sipping ginger tea at night while Joel chases Bay around the couch. there is so much going on that can feel stretching yet, every time Joel & I talk about the years we’ve been together, it’s been this last one that has really stripped away all that doesn’t matter in the end. God has purified our motives, our desires, our needs, our dreams, everything — thank goodness that He is near to us & that His love can hold it all when we are weary. thank goodness for the way that having a kid forces out all the unnecessary in our lives & brings a deep sense of dependence on our Heavenly Father. just some lil’ glimpses into the deep joy these people bring me — from coffee out as a family, to cool porch evenings with the pups, to Baylee conquering a year of life, to friends bringing a miracle earthside, to wednesday nights, to the leaves changing just like we do 🍂
