I’ve always loved makeup but recently grew to love it more when others apply it for me (lol). I don’t wear it much on my own downtime and my skin thanks me for that. But I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the art behind makeup and all the MUAs I’ve been fortunate and thankful to have worked with that do an incredible job at their craft. From every color chosen down to the contours and angles, every creative look is a unique expression of art and has a story to tell. A reason for being. And from a model’s (canvas) perspective, I find this fascinating.💫 Makeup is more than just “dress up” time and it’s not bound to only covering up “imperfections,” soothing our society-driven insecurities. It’s a form of fluid artistic expression, a clever exchange of communication. 🧡💄💋✨
