Filled with envy, I thought of chasing him away 🌙 Produced in Iran between the 12th and 14th centuries, lustre-painted tiles – like this this eight-pointed example – would adorn the interiors of buildings, with subject matter ranging from the abstract to depictions of animals and human figures.
