This is what a zero looks like at @stab_high it was an interesting format this year. We were put in heats and told we would only get scored on the type of air they wanted us to do in the heat. In this case a straight air. I chose not to listen and just do what I thought the wave was good for. I think straight airs look sick and work well with the proper section, but I don’t believe doing a straight air is taking full advantage of a crazy section. Not once has a straight air left me in disbelief that I am still on my feet and riding the wave. Extra spins and upside down rotations however do give me that feeling. I believe to truly progress we should feel the freedom to go as big as possible and express our own styles on every wave we catch. Surfing is an art form not a sport. That being said I still wanna thank @stab for being the only outlet that is consistently putting on cool events and trying their best to create good content! Also huge thank you for always including me even when I bitch about the format or don’t always play by the rules.
