Hi! I’m Brianna. I come from a blended family. Sort of. My momma and daddy had me when they were just kids. 19 & 20. No college degrees at the time. Just two young kids in love navigating this thing called life. Well by the time I was in 3rd grade they divorced and eventually both remarried. That brought about new siblings on both sides. Growing up was never easy in blended households, but if I could go back I wouldn’t change a thing. Yes, there are many things that could have been done differently but life is about loving and growing despite circumstances. My upbringing has shaped me into the person I am today and has given me so much ambition, determination, and perspective on life. My parents weren't rich and made many sacrifices that I will forever appreciate. I had everything I needed and more. I didn't truly understand how unselfish they were until I entered adulthood. Parenthood put the icing on the cake. I’m grateful for all my experiences. I’m grateful for my parents experiences and being able to learn from their mistakes and their wins. And I’m thankful for their growth and selflessness. They may have not done completely right by each other, but I’m not biased to say I’m one of their greatest accomplishments. I’m just getting started. My ancestors wildest dreams. There are a ton of mommy and family blogs out there. Not as many Black Family Blogs as I would like. I started Little Red Reviews to ensure we connect with other middle class families who are ready to change the Black Family Narrative. It's a family business.
