“I'm a clinical psychologist by profession, so when it comes to working with mental health and psychosocial support, this is this is my passion,” says Janet Mukurumbira, the MSF mental health activity manager at Tongongara refugee camp in Zimbabwe. “As a therapist, what you want to see is progress and growth and people developing better coping mechanisms and building their resilience. This is what I'm seeing in the camp.
