Footy fans from around the nation are set for #SouthAustralia in the April school holidays, as they ‘Gather Round’ for a Festival of Footy. For the first time, all nine matches in a single round of the @afl season will be played in one state. Nine matches, four days, three venues and all 18 clubs – all here, in @southaustralia. From Thursday 13 April to Sunday 16 April, the @adelaideoval will host six matches, while Norwood Oval will play home to two and Mount Barker to one, providing an opportunity for interstate fans to get a taste of footy in the @visitadelaidehills wine region. Affordable ticket prices and an additional 13,000 seats to #Adelaide already added by @virginaustralia specifically for Gather Round – almost doubling flights between Melbourne and Adelaide, are helping make the matches accessible for many.
