One of the hardest things with having extensions is the maintenance... But let’s be real sometimes you just gotta live your life and get in the water 😆 • • Here are my top three recommendations for those of you who have extensions and go on a boat or in the water. 1. Use a mineral based sunscreen- Any form of sunscreen can shift the tone of your extensions. But a mineral based one is the best! 2. Use a purple CONDITIONER before going in the water! (Although i don’t reallyyyy recommend going in the water) Now the science behind this I don’t have the answer- but what I do know is it works! Take a small amount of conditioner and pull it through your extensions (purple if you’re a blonde) it’s going to create a barrier on your extensions to help avoid them getting dry or shifting tone. 3. Make sure to reapply as soon as getting out of the water!
