The Giants Live World Tour Final saw athletes battle it out in five testing events with a great atmosphere behind them at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow. In just the first event, four world records were broken. Kevin Faires, being the lightest man in the field, left standing with a new world record of 24.61m in the Nicol stone carry. Pavlo Nakonechenyy flew through the third event crushing the world record with 11 reps on the axle deadlift (350kg). Totalling up the points from all of the events, Aivars Šmaukstelis finished in second place with Kevin Faires in third. An incredible feat from all of our athletes last night.
