A while back I had a podcast conversation with my wonderful wife Alex and Mormon Stories - a podcast focused on a spectrum of views and voices from within the Mormon community. We hope our perspective helps others finding themselves in a similar position and feeling alone or discouraged. We still love and respect those who think differently than ourselves and still value many things about the religion in which we were raised, while being happy to leave some of the more harmful aspects behind us. Ultimately we’ve found carving our own path out of orthodox religion can be daunting, and a delicate line to walk with those we love and respect so much - who still identify as religious. We hope we did that in our conversation while still being our truest self, unapologetically.
