I had a huge honour of hosting the Q+A at @poornabell book launch for her new commercial fiction book “in case of emergency”. ⁣ ⁣ Since starting @_TheOtherBox in 2016, I’ve had the opportunity to meet some incredible people over the years, Poorna being one of them. She was so established in her career when we met in 2017 and I’ll never forget her generosity and kindness to meet and speak with us in our early days - and we became great friends ever since! It was also because of her, how we met @simakumar 🤩.⁣ ⁣ Poorna has *always* championed south Asian talent in the creative industries, and even with her book launch she used her platform to uplift other south Asian creatives.
