Happy last day of pride month 🌈 Or is it happy? I’ve been thinking a lot about the horrible shooting in Oslo that took place this weekend. I’m angry, devastated and terrified. It’s such a painful reminder of how far we still have left, of how much of a fight there still is, everyday. But this is why we need pride, this is why people need safe spaces to feel accepted. We cannot ever be silenced or held back. This should never ever be allowed to happen, not anywhere. We need more LGBTQ representation, we need more role models who can help every single person out there to feel less alone, to feel less of an outcast, to feel less scared. My heart aches and I wish there was more that we could do. Check on your LGBTQ friends, listen to them and support them. And to my fellow LGBTQ friends on here, know that you are loved. Take care 🌈
