I feel like I’ve been waiting for this day as long as I’ve known Robin. Robin and I have a million random mutual friends in this world but I first met her in 2019 when I photographed her sisters wedding. Since then, we chatted over instagram here and there and bonded over our love our dogs (specifically her Sunny & my Abel, our soul dogs). I met Sunny at Robin & Nathan’s engagement session this past spring and he reminded me so much of my Abel with his gentle demeanor and peaceful spirit. When I learned of his passing only a few months later, my heart broke for Robin & Nathan as I knew they pain all too well. — Fast forward to their wedding day and there was no denying that Sunny was watching over their day. It was a chilly fall Thursday but the sun was bright and warm all day long. The mountain venue they’d chosen was painted with the most beautiful fall colors I have ever seen or photographed in Southern California. And if any couple deserves a day like November 10th, 20202, it’s these two. Robin is the kind of person who is a genuine friend from the very first moment you meet her. And spend 5 minutes with these two and you’ll realize they are the definition of soulmates; truly the ying to the others yang. The only thing that could have made this wedding day better is if it would have gone by a little slower. I am so incredibly overjoyed for you two, Mr. & Mrs. Gutschow!! — Venue: @sacredmountainjulian Video: @ryanfilms.weddings Planning: @hollykalkinweddings Florals: @stemfloralco DJ: @preston.foreman Hair: @_hdbeauty_ MUA: @kylastuart_makeup Dress: @ruedeseinebridal via @thedresstheorysandiego Catering: @wildthymeco
