About this weekend... Two incredible works AT PLAY. It was such an honor to portray Miss Traynor in the final workshop of Lincoln in the Bardo by @missymazzoli and @rvavrek at @chqopera. The momentum of this massive work is so powerful and I can’t wait to see its impact when it premieres at the @metopera next year, starring the one and only @christine_goerke as Reverend. I’m owing all the thank you to @srosgood for the trust, care, and inspiration. Two days later, my @lincolncenter debut with @runningamoc in Rome is Falling by the seriously hilarious @dougballiett. The amount of fun I’ve had in this show is beyond words, and under @julia.eichten’s brilliant vision, this show is the most unhinged masterpiece ever. The best part of the two shows, although very different from each other, is the amount of play and focus we are able to have throughout the whole process. When people collectively find nuance and want to do a good job, it shows in the product and new sparks appear at every new second. Too many people to thank and not enough tags.
