Anatomy of a brownie. Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate - dark chocolate melted in the base, smashed up milk chocolate bunnies left over from Easter studded through the centre plus chunky shards of gianduja chocolate on top (plus roast almonds, loads of malt and sea salt flakes). These were on my to-bake list anyway, so I don’t think they qualify as #lockdownbaking (although the spinach, mint and feta gozleme I made for lunch definitely do, as does the wholemeal rough puff that’s now sitting smugly in my freezer! Wtf?!) I love these brownies chilled - the texture is almost fudge-like. Guess I’m not quitting sugar anytime soon!
