The City of Los Angeles simply can’t solve this crisis on our own. In April, the City agreed to build more housing and interventions and today we recognized the County as they join us in our LA Alliance agreement. This will create tools to truly address the homelessness crisis. As long as we have a willing partner with the County to bring the mental health and detox services so desperately needed, we will continue breaking down housing barriers for people experiencing homelessness, bringing them indoors and building housing throughout our City.
