It’s been nearly 70 years since two white men kidnapped, brutally beat and lynched Emmett Till for whistling at a white woman in Mississippi. The only living relative, who saw Till before the abduction, spoke with me during his trip to Milwaukee for Black History Month. Here’s how his cousin’s murder impacted him.
