BENJAMIN EDGAR for CHAMPION REVERSE WEAVE - “12345, All The Way Through” - Was asked to edit the classic @champion Reverse Weave sweats a few months ago. Idea was a fairly literal execution of the “all the way through” methodology - which is about highlighting the lack of veneer either literally of figuratively in my objects. In this case, by actually perforating the garment itself all the way through the front and the back sides. This brings the wearer further into the the story as whatever they're wearing, or not wearing, will show through ever-so-slightly while continuing to communicate a lack of veneer. The archery arrows are used to further confirm the concept - almost creating a short “visual poem” in a sense. This idea that great design should be felt both visually, emotionally, and beyond.
