Thank you Controller elect @kennethmejiala for putting together this LAPD budget request analysis together. LAPD is not able to fill their recruitment classes because we have given them too much to do. Let’s take mental health crises response off their plate. We can do that by increasing the number of PMRT teams made up of clinicians and folks who want to handle the mental health crises response calls.
