my first experience being around bob dylan was astonishing. in 1993 there was the sense he was a ‘has been’ among my peers. spending two weeks shooting this amazing series of concerts in new york at the supper club showed he had more than enough passion than his critics gave him credit for. i’ve had the luck to be around several great performers, but this time was among the best experiences of my life.
