Concept to Publication - Launch - 13/10 at 6 pm PhotoAccess is delighted to launch eleven independently published photo-books, all made during the groundbreaking eleven-month workshop Concept to Publication. Guided by Canberra-based documentary photographer Dave Hempenstall, eleven photographs came together to explore the potential of the photographic book. Over ten months, they investigated different forms, discussed significant historical and contemporary works, experimented with making and the materiality of the photobook and refined their author’s voice to make the books exhibited here. The wonderfully diverse approaches and final forms are a testament to their dedication to the process.
