Savory with a touch of natural sweetness, this Prosciutto and Pear Galette made with Nate’s honey by @Mrs.j_houck is a must to snack on at home or with friends. See recipe below:
1- 10inch pie crust
2 Tbsp stone ground mustard
1 Tbsp Nate’s honey plus more for drizzle
1 cup of Gruyère cheese (shredded)
1 medium pear (thinly sliced)
6 oz of prosciutto
1 Tbsp of heavy cream
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°
In a small bowl mix together mustard and honey until combined.
Next place pie dough on a non stick pan or use parchment paper.
Spread honey mustard mixture evenly in the center of the pie dough leaving about 2 inches of the crust’s edge uncovered.
Sprinkle 3/4 cup of Gruyère cheese on top the mustard. Distribute pears and prosciutto evenly; top with the remaining 1/4 cup cheese.
Begin folding the edges of pie dough over toward the center; repeat all the way around. Brush edges with heavy cream.
Bake for 35-40 mins. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before enjoying.
