When I received the news the other day that @tonyhawk broken and surgically repaired femur was not healing up (see his recent post) I was shocked! Since June I have been shooting with Tony and documenting his road to recovery as he relearned tricks on his ramp. It’s insane to think that he was actually pulling off these difficult moves on a still broken leg. Fucking incredible. Well, looks like we’re gonna have to start documenting all over again sometime in 2023–maybe @staabpirate1 will join the fun.
