Revisited Altadena and the firefighters at Station 11 this weekend. Had the honor of feeding the first responders and families there during the fires w/ our small but mighty team of 5, in large part b/c of @mad.collective.la. Rebuilding is under way, lots of cleared lots but still lots of rubble. Lots of families who were able to return to homes saved by the firefighters and lots who no longer can b/c winds up to 100mph devastated the area. Had the rare privilege of putting on the uniform and even doing a ride along. *Immediately asks ChatGPT how to throw a ladder… I’m grateful to know the kind, funny, badass firefighters of Altadena like @belair1957.
