why is it important to have a schedule and just try even when you “don’t feel like it” (Of course with the exception of when you need to listen to your body and take a rest)? The act of following through with your commitment to yourself builds self confidence. It helps you see that you are capable of fulfilling your promises to yourself and striving for what you know will be beneficial to your physical and mental health. What do you do when you don’t feel like working out? I’ll go first- I turn on a dance party and get in the groove. 9 times out of 10, once Im done that 10/15 min dance party, I’m ready for more. That one time that I don’t, I will remind myself that at least I put in the effort and followed through on my promise to myself.
