This six-storey office building is set to become one of the largest timber structures in London. Designed by @fosterandpartners and due to rise as part of a wider redevelopment project in Bayswater, The William will offer 90,000 square feet of office space alongside some retail units and 32 new homes, of which 11 will meet the city's definition of affordable. . Due to complete in 2026, the building will be constructed with sustainably-sourced cross laminated timber (CLT) — a material that's widely seen as a more environmentally friendly alternative to concrete and steel — and, of course, topped with plants and trees.
