For Season 5 of The Chi, we wanted to give opportunities to emerging Black fashion designers and brands to have their clothing line featured in this season. Visibility & opportunity are an important part of Hillman Grad’s ethos. We worked closely with @mercedes_robeta, the wardrobe stylist, and received so many lookbooks + submissions from designers globally, and have paired the scenes with the fashion brands as a feature. As we launch this new series, we want to encourage you to support the Black fashion ecosystem in how you purchase and what brands you support as you see representation from e-commerce to tv screens.
