$755 to fly lay flat to Chile 🇨🇱 ? Yeah I’ll take it 🙋🏻‍♂️. Little known trick on @americanair I’m just learning now myself. I originally booked these flights for $1060. I continued to track the prices on Google Flights. When the prices dropped I went on the @americanair website and went to the change trip option. I rebooked the exact same flights and they issued me a credit of $305 per person immediately. I timed the bottom perfect as those flights were only $755 for that one day. I have a year to use those credits and can use them on anyone not just the person they were issued to. I did have to burn four system wide upgrades to make the jump from economy to business. I had been looking at the aircraft type and open seats going into booking and seemed like a slam dunk upgrade opportunity. 🛏 ✈️
