In 2018, when James and I got married, we decided to make our honeymoon a “camping moon” and spend it up in one of our favourite places – the Kimberley, Western Australia. ⛺️☀️👰🏼‍♀️ One of the places we were lucky enough to visit was the beautiful and untouched Emma Gorge. 🫶💦🙏 With its towering red walls, its sparkling turquoise waters and its brilliantly green hanging garden, we felt as if we were in a dream. ☁️ We spent the day. ♥️ We ran. We splashed. We jumped. We laughed. We admired the gorge walls and the natural amphitheatre they created. 😍 We squealed and shrieked when we unexpectedly met Muriel (the resident freshie).🐊 We revelled in delight when we finally found the hot spring (to the right). 😅 And we dreamed. ☁️ We dreamed of returning. 🙏 We dreamed of floating in the waters once more. 💦 We dreamed of all the magic we were yet to experience.✨ And most of all, we dreamed of seeing, and experiencing Emma Gorge from above. ☁️ Of capturing it in a way we hadn’t seen before. 📸 Of finding a new angle to (try and!) do justice to the incredible landscape in front of our eyes. 🤞 And after four long years, I can’t believe it. 🥹 I can’t believe our dream is finally a reality. 🙏 Walking on a dream.
