June ‘22 w/ @jacksonbrowne has wrapped. This tour started with no rehearsals, rough weather, cancelled flights, and a 12+ hour tour bus rescue mission from Dallas to St. Louis - and ended with 14 memorable shows under the belt, all on time, in tune, with room for requests. They’d call it a miracle if not for the relentless hard work by these people: Thank you to my guitar tech @sanchezguitars for the late nights//early mornings of packing up and tearing down our gear, for always making my guitars sound and feel great, and for showing me the good era of Santana on your ipad. Thank you Scrimo, Terry, Paul, Cochise, Mark, John, Brian, and the entire stage//sound crew for doing all of the hard work backstage it takes to make our jobs look easy. Thank you to both Rons for driving the band buses safely and warning us before every speed bump. Thank you Cree, Buddha, and Langenstein for booking flights, venues, and doing literally all of the behind the scenes work back home that makes any of this remotely possible. Thank you @liamjon_ for keeping us safe and healthy everyday, and for showing me those psoas stretches for my hip. Thank you @nikkiblakk666 for keeping all of us on schedule, for being my wine buddy on the bus, and for buying me 24 bags of Zapp’s potato chips. Thank you Alethea, Chavonne, Jason, Bob, Fritz, and Greg (and Val!) for being the best touring band out there. For the laughing-till-crying bus stories, and for remaining subtle when you ask Mark for less of my guitar in your ears. You guys make me a better musician, and you make me watch more sports in a month than I have in my entire life. And lastly, thank you Jackson for bringing me in to this incredible band. For entrusting me with your songs, and for pushing me beyond the outer limits of my fretboard on Doctor My Eyes. I’m sorry I drank the rest of your tequila in Cleveland.
