For eight days, 26 premedical, nursing, pre-physician assistant, and physical therapy students volunteered with the nonprofit Synaptic Communities to provide healthcare abroad to low-income communities in Nicaragua 🇳🇮. During their Christmas Break, these students decided to learn more about the medical field outside of their normal surroundings while developing new relationships with medical physicians in another country.
