Concept to Publication Last night we launched eleven freshly minted photobooks made by the participants of our inaugural Concept to Publication workshop. The books are on display in the Huw Davies Gallery until the 22nd of October. Don’t miss your chance to have a look through all these marvelous little books in person! Guided by Canberra-based documentary photographer Dave Hempenstall, eleven photographs came together to explore the potential of the photographic book. Over ten months, they investigated different forms, discussed significant historical and contemporary works, experimented with making and the materiality of the photobook and refined their author’s voice to make the books exhibited here. The wonderfully diverse approaches and final forms are a testament to their dedication to the process.
