Dear Jimmy, I am having a really hard time believing that you’re not earthside anymore, my friend. When Julia told me the news that you passed I had to read and reread and it still didn’t make sense. It doesn’t. Because how could you be gone. If I got to talk to you one more time, I would say thank you for being in my life. For always pushing all of us to create, to live, to love, and chase every damn dream. For always believing in us. In me. You lit up a room and we couldn’t help but gravitate towards your laughter, your smile, just you. Thank you for always giving so generously your advice and your encouragement. I was going to text you that day to show you but we were going to cook together soon and idk why I didn’t just text you.
