Vegan 8 Ingredients EASY!
RECIPE πΏ
β’ 5 medium sized peaches, cored & halved
β’ 1/2 cup vegan granulated sugar
β’ 2 tbsp vegan brown sugar
β’ 1/2 cup brandy
β’ 1 whole vanilla bean, seeds removed
β’ 5 Tbsp vegan butter, cubed
β’ Homemade or 1 pckt. store bought puff pastry dough, thawed
β’ 1/4 cup all purpose flour, for dusting
1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F. Roll out puff pastry dough, onto a floured surface, to about 1/8 thick. Cut into a 11 inch circle, just bit larger than the oven proof pan you are using. Set aside.
2. In the ovenproof pan, add the sugar. Dissolve the sugar over medium-high heat until the mixture becomes a light amber. Stir with a whisk occasionally until the caramel reaches a darker amber color. Remove from heat. Add brandy & vanilla seeds and stir.
3. Carefully place the peaches in the skillet, seed removed side up. After theyβve been coated, carefully flip them over with using a spatula or tongs.
4. Remove from heat, add the butter and cover the peaches with the round puff pastry. Tuck the excess dough into the edges with a wooden spoon. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
5. Remove from oven and very carefully invert onto a plate larger than the pan you baked the tarte tatin in. Serve warm.
