Our health care system already fails AAPI, Black, Indigenous, Latinx and all communities of color. Barriers to abortion care make that worse. It’s time to dismantle the structural inequities of our health care systems. The Hyde Amendment bans the use of federal Medicaid funds for abortion except when the life of the pregnant person would be endangered by carrying the pregnancy to term. On today’s anniversary of the Hyde Amendment, we call on elected officials to end it. It's time for Hyde to go. #BeBoldEndHyde
